Pickled serranos have changed my life. I eat them whole usually because I grew up being taught to waste not, but sometimes the stem is lookin a little weird and I leave those off and still feel guilty for wasting. Wwyd? Carne asada tacos with onion, yellow bells, napa cabbage, cilantro, and aji verde.

You do you, but I definitely wouldn’t eat apple seeds.

Before my girlfriend moved to the US, she took various cooking classes in Mexico. They were taught to cut the crown (stem/cap) off out of respect because they are the kings of seasoning in Latin American cuisine. I thought that was cool and respectfully cut their crowns off and say thanks. Lol

Leave the stem, like a gentleman, like a doctah.

Yeah, I don’t peel bananas before I eat them either

No stem. I’m sure the flavor is fine but would take forever to chew.

“Hey, Jimmy… if you’re not going to eat your peach pit, can I have it?”

You eating cold tortillas my guy? Also no I don’t eat the stems. They don’t provide anything beneficial nor is it a waste of food. But I do eat the stems and cores of vegetables and fruits as long as they’re not woody material as I do find that to be a waste of food.

Stem should always be cut off. And the pepper itself chopped.
